Troubleshooting a Failed Zombie Couple Generation
Find an existing task, understand retrying and failed states, and check credit returns before creating another video.
If a zombie couple generation seems stuck, open My Creations before submitting again. A browser interruption, a temporary status error and a confirmed failed generation are different states. Closing the tab does not reliably stop the provider's task.
Find the original task
Sign in to the same account used for generation. My Creations shows unfinished tasks as well as completed videos and failed or canceled tasks. Use Refresh status to check the existing task. While you are viewing the page, loaded active tasks are checked automatically. Background tabs and sleeping devices may pause checks; return to the page and refresh the original task.
Keep the task ID shown with the entry. If you have several attempts, compare the scene, quality and approximate submission time before deciding which task needs help. A newly completed result may appear after a refresh rather than requiring another purchase or generation.
| What you see | What to do next |
|---|---|
| An upload error before submission | Retry that photo upload or choose another supported image |
| A processing task or retry message | Refresh the existing task and allow its status to update |
| A completed video | Watch the full result and download it |
| A failed task | Check the credit history before a new submission |
| A canceled task | Review the cancellation terms; submitted canceled tasks remain charged |
Check the two uploads
Each slot needs a completed upload showing one authorized adult. The requested photo roles are human survivor in photo 1 and zombie partner in photo 2. Use clear JPEG, PNG or WebP portraits and confirm consent. A local thumbnail with an upload error is not a completed server upload.
A fast failure does not prove that content moderation caused it. If the interface explicitly reports a safety rejection, review the authorized adult photos and non-graphic scene. Do not keep submitting the same rejected input. Follow the photo checklist.
Understand temporary errors and delivery limits
A short provider or storage outage keeps the existing task retryable, rather than immediately creating a second task or returning credits. The system backs off repeated status checks. A provider may also report success before its video URL is ready, or need time to save the result.
The current implementation allows a five-minute recovery window after observing a missing output URL, and a thirty-minute window after a saving failure. Undelivered tasks have a twenty-four-hour overall limit. These are task-recovery limits, not typical generation times or a promise to wait twenty-four hours before seeking help.
These checks run when the task is polled or its history is refreshed. There is no independent background cleanup schedule, so a task left unopened may not finalize until you return and refresh. A database problem can also leave an update pending for retry. Contact support if the task remains unclear instead of creating repeated paid attempts.
Check credits separately from the video quality
Confirmed failed or rejected tasks return reserved credits through the task system. Check your credit history and balance after refreshing. A credit return restores site credits; it is different from a refund of a cash purchase.
A completed result with an awkward face or hand is not automatically recorded as failed. A new quality tier starts another paid generation and is not an upgrade of the existing file. Review credit costs, face-drift guidance and the refund policy.
Canceled tasks that were already submitted remain charged under the current cancellation flow. Closing a tab is not the same as canceling a task, and it does not promise that the provider stops working.
Send support the details needed to locate the task
Include the task ID, selected scene, quality, approximate submission time and the visible status or error. For a payment question, include the order number. Avoid passwords, provider keys, full card details and public copies of your photo-upload URLs.
Email support@zombielove.video or open an account support ticket. If a result is ready, download it promptly and keep your own copy. Available videos can also be downloaded from My Creations. For another attempt, inspect the template previews and correct the input that caused the issue first.
